Kibu.energy and its affiliated companies within the EU (“we”, “us” or “Kibu”) are committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of any person who makes use of the Kibu website.

Information you provide to us when completing surveys that we use for research purposes. Such information includes contact details such as your e-mail address and telephone number; and
Details of your visits to the website and the resources that you access. Such information includes information gathered by cookies, such as your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration (please see paragraph 3. for more information about cookies).
2. For which purposes do we process personal data from you:
to ensure that content from the Kibu website is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer;
to provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you and where, as applicable you have consented to be contacted for such purposes or did not opt out;
to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us;
to allow you to participate in interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so;
and to notify you about changes to our service;
You can forbid using cookies in your computer but in that case Kibu cannot guarantee the expectable and correct function of our services.
4. Security | Kibu has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect you personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access and against all other unlawful forms of processing.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the website; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use the abovementioned strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.
Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of the website, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.
5. Disclosure of your information | Your personal data may be disclosed to our affiliated companies established in the EEA region for the purposes of sending you promotional information about our products or services. We may disclose your personal data to any member of the Kibu company, including, but not limited to, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries.

in case we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets;
in case Kibu or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party;
in case the third party provides services for security, maintenance or other similar services to administrate and protect the Kibu website.
6. Retention | Your personal data will be stored no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data were collected unless otherwise required by law.
Kibu will use reasonable efforts to honor your request, or objection, or inform you as to whether and, if so, to what extent it is complying therewith within one month after we receive such request or objection. To prevent misuse we might ask you to identify yourself.
